Designed for the next generation of audio products
Resonado’s patented Res-Core™ technology is a novel electrodynamic loudspeaker architecture that enables high performance audio in unique form factor products.
Difference you can hear
Concept products featuring Resonado drivers with Res-Core technology
Conventional Drivers
—
The original electrodynamic loudspeaker driver was invented 96 years ago.
Conventional Racetrack Drivers
—
As product demand shifted to slimmer products, the industry created the racetrack driver utilizing the same 96 year old motor.
Resonado racetrack Drivers
—
Resonado introduces Res-Core™ – a driver architecture tailored for the racetrack driver, optimizing performance in that form factor.
The magic is in our voice coil
Delivering perfectly uniform frequency response
On the left, you can see a conventional racetrack driver in operation where a breakup mode is occurring.
The opposite motion (breakup mode) of the ends of the diaphragm versus the motion of the supported area of the diaphragm in the center creates positive (red) and negative (blue) pressure waves that emanate from the driver’s surface at the same time.
This creates poorer sound reproduction, and breaks down the sound stage that makes good speakers sound like magic.
On the right, a Resonado racetrack driver in operation.
Resonado’s patented Res-Core architecture enables a wider bandwidth of pistonic behavior - a perfectly even wavefront emanates from the surface of our diaphragms, which creates crisp sound reproduction and reinforces the breadth of the soundstage found in modern music.
The start of something special.
We’ve developed 2 Generations of Res-Core technology, and are putting the finishing touches on the 3rd. The technology is licensed to top manufacturers, who then work with brands to integrate it into consumer products - to ultimately deliver a new dimension of sonic amazingness to your ears.
